Tours in Manuel Antonio

Where the rainforest meets the Pacific

Destination

Manuel Antonio

Manuel Antonio is the quintessential tropical postcard: jungle-covered hills tumbling down to pale-sand beaches and turquoise water on the Central Pacific coast. Just minutes from the port town of Quepos, it pairs design-forward hotels with ocean views, excellent dining and wildlife that feels remarkably close.

Manuel Antonio National Park, one of the most visited in the country, protects well-kept trails that lead to secluded coves. With a naturalist guide, sightings of sloths, white-faced capuchins, squirrel monkeys, iguanas and a wide variety of birds are common. Keep in mind that the park is closed on Tuesdays and entry tickets must be booked in advance, something we are happy to arrange for you.

Beyond the park, the area offers sunset catamaran cruises, world-class sport fishing from the Quepos marina, mangrove kayaking and oceanfront dinners. You can arrive by private transfer from San José in about three and a half hours, or take a short private flight to the Quepos airstrip.
