Description
You do not need to fly down a cable to experience Monteverde from above. This tour brings together two of the most contemplative experiences at Sky Adventures park, designed for travelers who want wide-open views, fresh mountain air and pristine cloud forest at a relaxed pace and in complete comfort.
The first part takes place aboard the Sky Tram, an open-air gondola that glides quietly over the treetops. As you climb, the forest transforms: trees grow shorter and wind-twisted, clouds drift across the slope and, when you reach the top station, the horizon suddenly opens. On clear days you can see Arenal Volcano, the lake that bears its name and the rolling peaks of the Tilarán range. It is one of the most impressive viewpoints in the region.
Then the Sky Walk begins, a trail that blends forest paths with a series of hanging bridges at different heights. From these bridges you meet the canopy face to face: blooming orchids, water-filled bromeliads, iridescent hummingbirds and, if luck is on your side, white-faced capuchins, coatis or a sloth asleep in the branches. Your guide will share fascinating insights into cloud forest ecology and its vital role in supplying water to the country.
It is a perfect choice for families with children, older travelers or anyone who prefers photography and contemplation over speed. Transportation, entrance fees and guides are all included, so the only thing left for you to do is enjoy.
